The quality of a garment depends first and foremost on the quality of its fibers. Every yarn we use comes directly from french yarn mills. Traceability and animal welfare are at the top of our requirements. As we produce in limited quantities, we have the privilege of not depending on constant and standardized supplies, allowing us to work with smaller, very committed partners.

La qualité d'un vêtement dépend avant tout de la qualité de ses fibres. Tous les fils que nous utilisons proviennent directement de filatures françaises. La traçabilité et le bien-être animal font parti de nos priorités. Notre production se fait à échelle humaine, et nous ne dépendons pas d'un approvisionnement constant et standardisé, ce qui nous permet de travailler avec des producteurs passionnés et engagés.
All natural : from seeds to dye

All of our colors are entirely made out of plants, either harvested responsibly in the wilderness, or homegrown. The project was born out of a deep need of renewing our relationship with nature. The decision not only to use natural dyes but also to plant and forage tinctorial plants was an integral part of the project.

The dyeing process requires expertise and a significant amount of time. Each skein is washed, rinsed, mordanted, dyed, washed again, and dried over several days before being ready to use. Natural dyeing truly is a tribute to patience.

Toutes nos couleurs proviennent de pigments extraits de plantes tinctoriales, récoltées de manière responsable à l'état sauvage ou cultivées par nos soins. Le projet est né d'un profond besoin de renouer avec la nature. Notre décision non seulement de faire de la teinture végétale, mais aussi de cultiver et cueillir nos plantes tinctoriales faisait partie intégrante du projet.

Le processus de teinture nécessite une certaine expertise et surtout beaucoup de temps. Chaque écheveau est lavé, rincé, mordancé, teint, lavé à nouveau et séché sur plusieurs jours avant d'être prêt à l'emploi. La teinture végétale est un véritable hommage à la patience.

As artisans, we do everything ourselves : from pattern making to the actual fabrication of the piece. We wanted a model that would allow us to experiment and create freely. Each piece is hand-dyed and hand-crafted - either with the help of manual knitting machines, or by hand, old-school style and in limited quantities.

En tant qu'artisans, nous faisons tout nous-mêmes : de la conception des patrons à la fabrication des pièces. Nous voulions un modèle de production nous permettant de créer et d'expérimenter librement. Chaque pièce est fabriquée à la main, soit à l'aide de machines à tricoter manuelles, soit avec des aiguilles, à l'ancienne et en quantité limitée.
